On May 22, 2023, the Illinois State Board of Education conducted a site visit at the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center for the purpose of a School Nutrition Programs Administrative Review. This Administrative Review contained two sub-reviews referred to as Meal Compliance Accountability Review and Resource Management Review. The Administrative Review comprised of a Meal Compliance and Accountability Review conducted on May 22 and May 23, 2023, by Harley Hepner Principal Consultant. The Resource Management Review was conducted on June 9, 2023, by Michael Gogerty Principal Consultant. 

On June 12, 2023, The Illinois State Board of Education notified the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center that all necessary documents have been received and reviewed for School Nutrition Programs and that the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center was found to be in compliance upon the review.
