Law Library

Legal Information

The mission of the Peoria County Law Library is to provide free access to up-to-date legal information for all attorneys, judges, county officers, and members of the general public. Our goal is to provide our patrons with accurate and current legal information in print and online. To achieve this goal, we are committed to meeting the legal information needs of Peoria's legal community and individuals who cannot afford to retain an attorney.

Effective January 1, 2018 all documents for civil and family cases, including initial case filings, will need to be submitted electronically. Please refer to the Self-Represented Litigant page for more information.

Each year the Law Library follows the County Holiday closure schedule.

The Peoria County Law Library does not engage in the practice of law and cannot provide legal advice.
